Favorite BMW ?

Although I have driven a good number of production BMW's, I have not driven them all, so, I will go from the collection of BMW's that I have driven, and which one's stand out in pure driving pleasure. There is nothing like drifting an e30 M3 around a corner in perfect control, just feeling the light back end with the most amazing balance of any car I have personally driven, but would that be my favorite BMW?, I'm not so sure. I currently have an e30 M3 being built using a euro e36 M3 motor with a 6-speed manual conversion, that will be putting out about 400hp normally aspirated once Dan Miller at Miller Performance gets done with it. https://www.millerperformancecars.com/ This may put a new favorite BMW on my list once I drive it. I have seen some amazing conversions, and although I am not the purest of purists, at this point in time in the market, I would not modify a collector quality e30 M3 to do a swap, but if the car is a shell, I would have no problem turning it into a track/street weapon. I have owned 4-e30 M3's over the years, all with the stock s14 and I love it, but I am more interested in torque now, because I don't drive like a crazy teenager anymore, and that is the only way to enjoy an e30 M3 as a daily driver. I have so many clients come into the shop with the interest of purchasing an e30 M3, and over 90% of the time, the leave in something else. Most people don't really know what an e30 M3 is, or what they really drive like. They love the body, they love the style and they love the history and what they represent, but then the reality kicks in that you are driving a 4-cylinder race car on the street, and unless the thing is wound up, it's not going anywhere, and that's not really much fun. I think with all of the early M-CARS, with the high revving motors, they all leave a little to be desired unless you can drive them the way they were intended to be driven, like a race car. I definitely have had the most fun while driving the e30 M3's, but if I had one moment that will stick with me forever, it would have to be when I was driving a 1973 BMW 3.0 CS during one of those late summer days in Seattle that make you forget about all of the nasty weather we put up with to just have a few amazing days of warm sunny weather a year. I was heading north on I-5 and I had all of the windows down, which on an e9 is one of the most stunning features, a pillerless body line and perfect design. I had the sunroof open with my left arm easily resting on the edge of the window sill. As I drove, I noticed that the wind that was pouring into the car created the most amazing gentile wind that swirled around the car creating an almost euphoric feeling, there were no harsh jabbing bursts of wind being forced into the car from poor design, but the most beautiful amount of wind that just played with the empty spaces created by the removal of glass and steel. The perfectly balanced engine, the wind caressing over the panels of the body, seamless motion, absolute perfection.

Wow, that felt amazing just writing about the experience. Ha Ha, it's in my blood.

Who will be the highest bidder?

As one Porsche 911 rolls out the door, and another comes inn right behind it. It's amazing how much demand the early Porsche 911's have in the market. The last 1989 911 Carrera we sold had 10,800 miles and sold in 1-day on eBay. The '89 got much higher that I had expected, but it was an amazing car. The '85 is very clean with a few minor cosmetic items here and there, but a very solid driver with excellent service history. I did a very thorough photo documentation of the interior and exterior of the car, and really enjoyed detailing this car out. Insomniac in Seattle

What do you do when you have a shop full of amazing cars http://munichevo.com/ and your not a fan of sleeping? Well, you can go out for a drive and take pictures of the cars. Yes, I am not really into sleeping much. It's not that I don't enjoy sleep, it's just that I am so excited about what I am working on at the moment, that I never want to go to sleep. I just wanna play with cars and do marketing. Living the BMW Dream

Never did I image that over 6 years ago when starting my business, that today, we would have some of the most amazing BMW's in the world sitting in my shop. when I purchased my first BMW at 18 years old that it would one day inspire me to create one of the most respected BMW Motorsport retail locations in the world. I love seeing the excitement in peoples eyes when they walk into my shop and see a BMW M1, Z8, 3.0 CSL "Batmobile" 10K mile e30 M3 or one of the only BMW Powered boats in the world. It's like a dream come true. I have had the opportunity of driving some of the most amazing BMW Motorsport cars ever made. I have driven two M1's now, with two more on the way next month. I never thought I would have a chance to drive an M1, and next month I will have driven 4, including 2 stock street M1's, a factory BASF Pro Car and one of the only street legal M1's with a factory Pro Car Body. He has given me the opportunity of driving 4 BMW e9 3.0 CSL's including a right hand drive '72, left hand drive '73 CSL "Batmobile" with over $100K restoration, '71 CSL "Carb Car", and a '74 CSL Series 1 "Batmobile" some of the other amazing BMW's include 2-BMW Z8's and a Z1. I have personally owned 4-e30 M3's 2 e36 M3's, 4-2002's, 540i Sport, '67 2000, e30 325is, '87 325e, '94 530it, and my first BMW was an '81 320i. I am a 1-man show, and have been working 6-7 days a week building my business, and am so happy with the development of what I have accomplished. When I got into the automotive business, I wanted to impact the industry and do something no one had ever done. Developing a BMW Motorsport specific retail location with a community conscious would be the foundation of my business. After years of developing relations with others in the industry, we have earned the trust of the best automotive retailers and service/repair shops in the Northwest. We have clients recommended to us from the local BMW dealers, Tesla of Seattle, Ferrari of Seattle, and we have sold cars for some of the top local professional drivers. It's such an amazing compliment when we receive a referral from another local retailer. Here is a shot of my business partners newest acquisition. One of only 2 BMW M1 BASF Pro Cars. He is in Canada where the car has been for the past 20-years going for a few hot laps before the car is shipped back to Seattle and placed on display in our showroom at Munich Evolution. The previous owner has just had the motor completely rebuilt and when they were running the car during the break in period, the transmission was acting up, so they had it rebuilt as well. I am so excited to have this car coming into the shop. This will be the third M1 I have driven. We have another stock M1 street car coming in next month as well, so we will have all three in the showroom for viewing next month. Stop in and take a look if you are in the area. 1st Annual PCA event in Kirkland, WA.

We have had one of the most amazing Indian summers this year in Seattle, so what better way to enjoy the day then spend it with good friends and a great deal of amazing Porsche's at the first annual PCA event in Kirkland Washington. Although my love will always be for BMW's, I have grown to appreciate the drive of a variety of Porsche models. I have had a chance to drive some amazing cars within the line, and a few that stand out were the '04 GT3, '91 C4, 356, and the 912. I have been driving an '08 Turbo Coupe with Tiptronic, and I am not a fan. I want to love this car, but I am not a fan of Tiptronic, give me a manual gearbox any time. I know the new clutch less manuals are faster, but in my opinion they are so boring. I love manually shifting a car, there is nothing like it, and when you remove that feeling, you kill a part of the driving experience.
